shopping excitement
so i was just thinking yesterday about those antique millinery flowers i had bought at that rummage sale last spring, and how excited i am that its spring again, which is the best time for rummage and estate sales... and i was thinking how much i hoped i would find more such flowers and trimmings this year. then i went to check the newspaper this morning to find out where the estate sale i wanted to go to tomorrow was located. turns out the sale started today. since i didnt want to miss anything awesome, i headed over there after i got out of class at nine this morning. turned out to be one of the better sales ive evern been to, and i was ridiculously excited to realize that whoever had lived there was as obsessed with owls as i am, so there was tons of owl stuff everywhere. (a lot of it wasnt my taste, but i did purchase a few things). SO what i ended up with was a rather large and exciting haul of gaudy beaded easter eggs and egg ornaments (some of which will be sent to my aunt who collects them) two gallon bags chock full of th emillinery flowers i had been hoping so hard for, a stuffed llama made of real alpaca fur, a small owl jewelry box, and an awesome old avon owl shaped perfume bottle. i am very, very excited. it makes me really wish i didnt have to work all day because i would much rather be makinv bunnies and other crazy easter decorations. anyone know where i can get a perfect large branch to spraypaint white and make an easter tree out of?
