(no subject)
Today was actually kind of fun. I went in and did the work thing after struggling to get up in the morning for it. Definately glad that today is the last of them for a little bit, even if it means I will be doing the lock ups next week.
After work I called by mum's to get their credit card details so that I can book my grand final tickets tomorrow, then made my way home.
When I got home Ash gave me a call and asked if I could pick her up from the netball tonight (She's seeing Australia and New Zealand play), because she didn't want to take the train home that late at night. I said I'd do that for her and then gave dad a call to see if he wanted a lift home from work and then I'd just go get Ash from their place.
I kicked it for a while playing some Batman, then around 430 I grabbed Osh and we went and got dad, then back to his place. After a few minutes of some Cosby Show watching we took mum and Cheryl down to the train station so that they could take the train into the same netball match that Ash was going to, then we went and got some pizza from their awesome pizza shop, quite possibly for the last time in quite a while once they move.
We took that back to their house and we ordered Gran Turino on the Foxtel Box Office and watched that while eating dinner. It's a movie that I've been wanting to watch for a while now and it was definately worth the look. I find it pretty cool that Clint Eastwood can still deliver such a strong performance after all these years and I really liked his character in the movie too. The over the top racism was pretty cool too.
Not long after the movie was finished it was time to go and get Ash, so we asked mum if they wanted a lift home too, which they did so dad and I jumped in his giant car and made our way into the city to get them, which we timed pretty well because they were just getting out the front and we were only a few minutes away. Everyone pilled in, including Sarah who we took around to the MCG car park so she could get her car and not have to walk through the scary parks at night.
After we got back to mum's we said our goodbyes and then made our way back home and got some chicken snack wraps from McDonalds for good measure, hitting the hay when we got home
