I can get you a legit, fully legal, copy of Office. Just stop by some time.

Open office is legit - it's just not recognized.
It's okay - Danger might be able to help me get the same thing for $30 cheaper. Every little bit helps and I will keep your offer in mind. School books just ate my soul.

That's cool just let me know what you want to do. My brother gave me access to his MSDN account which allows me to download full versions of Microsoft products for free as long as I am not using them to make a profit. I think it is the full $800 Office 2007 Ultimate that they have on the MSDN site.

I'll talk with Danger about it first.
I just know I need to wait on purchasing anything more until 1)Fin.Aid deposits money for me to get the rest of my supplies or 2) I get paid next month. Thinking I may drop my SSCI 104 class but not sure yet since that would take me under full-time status.

Cool, talk to Danger first, he is in a better position to get it to you quickly considering he is over quite a bit.

I think you might have misunderstood me on one thing. I am offering to GIVE you a copy of Office 2007. No money will be needed on your part and it is fully licensed and legal.

I never did get to talk with him yet but I'm wondering if the copy you would be giving me could be used on a laptop and a desktop? I use both and that's what I was hoping to get through Danger.
If it's a legit copy I can't turn down free - okay, maybe I can bake brownies in exchange or something?

My brother used his extra key that he was going to give me for Office 2007 but I have a spare copy of Office 2007 that I don't need now that Lydia and I have switched over to Macs. Feel free to pick it up any time.

I understand what you are saying - but the classes require the use of the actual product since this class is PC Applications and there is a focus in part on MS Office products.
