Playing catchup...
Holy Hurriedly Happy Weeks Batman!
The past two weeks have been a bit of a blur, but here's some highlights:
* Aethelmearc War Practice was really great. Got to camp with Arcane, spent time with new friends and was able to catch up with new acquaintances, and had an all around great time! Camp fire songs, rain bursts, and random foods.
* Finished first chemise (blue) and a tunic. Time to work on more garb before Pennsic.
* Finished rough Capt Jack Sparrow vest for Max Marcon skit. Still needs to have some finishing touches done.
* Work has been very very busy the last couple weeks and that doesn't look to be slowing down, which is a good thing.
* Marcon overall was good - finally made it to the artshow and dealers room this year and even won a piece done by Squish from the artshow. Next year I'm hoping to make it to more of the programming and such. Roomed with Arcane, Savory, Danger, Yaeger and Maggus....all very good company.
* CSCC finally responded about my FAFSA - I was awarded the funding and can start taking the classes for 6 credit hours or more starting the end of June/begining of July. Yay!!
* Really really hoping to go camping some weekend soon. I'm looking forward to getting out in the woods and with nature for a day or two and just taking it all in.
I'm sure there's more, there always is, but I'm still a bit tired from the weekend and it's time to finish a few things here at home before bed. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and that you enjoy the short week ahead!
