Random updates and life in general...
The last week or so has been up in the air and pretty random in general.
The flowerbeds have slowly been getting weeded as has the garden. Was able to get most all of the veggies planted last Thursday after an hour of weeding. All that's left is to get the two tomato plants in after some more weeding, pick up some bluelake beans and plant those too. Otherwise, all the planting is done for the veggies. Have some herbs to put in, but those aren't as dire to get planted at this point. Hoping to work on that more tomorrow night after work and have most of the weeding done.
Tonight is a Marcon meeting and planning session.
Last week my roomie threw her knee out and has been put back on crutches till they find out what's wrong. Hopefully it's not too major, but all in due time. Meanwhile I've been busy keeping up on the house, packing, spring cleaning (read: purging), planning for a camping trip and the upcoming convention.
Marcon will be fun, very busy in the evenings, but very slow during the day most likely. The camping trip this weekend is out of state and I won't be back until mid-afternoon Saturday most likely. Working a bit more again this week on sewing and such as well as being 2/3 done with the crochet project I've been working on. I hope to take photos later and post them when it's completed.
I've become a bit of an on and off Facebook addict, leaving me to delete my OkCupid account a month or so ago. I only had the account to take the fun quizzes, but since there are many on Facebook as well as my friends and other diversions, I didn't see the point in keeping the account - there was no personal information there anyway. I'm rarely on Myspace either - once or twice a week at most it would seem.
Financial Aid office - still not response as yet so I will patiently wait in my room bouncing a ball against the wall for the next week or so. Work is good - busy days/slow days, but overall it's great. Planning is coming along for Origins and that's keeping me uber busy at times.
Missed Baron Wars this weekend, took care of somethings at home instead and headed north to spend some time there. Saw a really great musical "I Love You because..." with fantastic seats. The storyline was fun and the cast was very good in overall presentation. The gentleman who portrayed the bartender I think I pegged as my favorite. I did a little looking into the show and apparently it's an adaptation of Pride and Prejudice... interesting since I've never been fond of the story. However, I think I am sold on this version - and I might even try and find the soundtrack. :D
Star Trek movie was very good - though I'm wondering where they are going to take it up again from here.... Don't worry, for those who haven't seen it I won't speak a word.
Yeah, steadily busy overall, but so far I think I'm keeping up nicely. Hope everyone else had a great weekend!
