I don't know if the movie wasn't as good as I'd hoped because it's thematically similar to a movie that I thought built up its story far better, or if I'd seen the trailer and it's become the worst thing you can do to see the trailer for a movie you want to see.

I will give full marks for a view of dancing as the difficult profession I'd always assumed it was.

If you want to see Natalie Portman make out with people? Yeah, this is your movie.
