As i had previously mentioned, i was going to make a poll with questions regarding the community and the challenges. Because LJ was messing up i couldn't post it before, but here it is.
Please take a minute or two to fill it out. :)

You're doing just fine! I only stopped entering 'cause I'm not as big a Twilight fan as I was. Still hang around to vote, though.

I think that's one of our biggest problems. The fans are not into the saga as much as they used to.

I have trouble with the harder challenges, interpretive or technical, not sure which, anyway, also posters and such. You know me.

I think i might change the challenges, maybe make it so that the members have more options as far as themes and stuff. :)

Despite not being into Twi as much, I still like the challenges... I FAILED at the humour one, b/c, well, I ain't funny. :/ Also, the icon tournament was fun! Tho maybe do a rumble-style one too as an alternative?

Does the comm maybe need more promotion? Or renewed promotion where it was promoted before? oooh, is it on the icontestnews list?

I was thinking of doing one more like a rumble this time. And i'm also thinking of changing the weekly challenges, instead of just one theme, maybe add more options.

Stealing an idea from wizard_icontest: they normally have 3 types of challenges: actor, screencap & hunt. Actor is self-explanatory, cap is usually a specific set of caps - it's about 5-6 caps to choose from & then hunt is variated: lyrics, quote, specific object, technique...

Do you think something like that would work?

That's what i was thinking, i don't know if you've already seen this week's challenge?

Side note: i wish more members were like you, to actually speak to us and suggest things that could improve the comm, kudos to you. :)

I would love to join more challenges, I just don't do it because I don't think it's fair to the other entrants since I can see what was submitted before me :/

But I think you're doing an awesome job! I'm the mod that fails LOL

Also, as a suggestion for a challenge, maybe we should try a "recast challenge". I sure everyone has an idea of who they would have rather had for whichever character instead of what summit casted ;)

Even i want to enter my own challenges, but i don't do it for that same reason.

And you don't fail at all, you're awesome!

And that's a great suggestion, will add that to next week's challenge, because i have already posted the challenge for this week.
