man, little kids really clean up at christmas--and abuelita claims to have held stuff back (how that's possible, i don't know).

anyway...we had a great day--hope it was the same all around.

quick impressions:
champagne early in the day: still a stellar idea
speakerphone: so much better than actual conversation
low expectations: fantastic day
birthday sushi: best end to christmas, ever
little ones at christmastime: so much fun

and now...shopping!
