My only big beef with Vaughn this season is that it seems he always has 'that' look on his face. You know the one...where his forehead is wrinkled and it appears that he's saying "I'm so sorry I just ran over your poodle with my garbage truck. Can I take you out to dinner to make it better?" He *always* seems pained...
Jack's line about trying to spend more 'happy' time made me hoot right out loud. I said to my husband "THAT is the only line that saved that episode."
Yeah...everyone seemed very nonplussed about Nadia except Weiss. (Who has, to be fair, been on every mission this season and suddenly now he's back in the office? How unfair is that? Is he not welcome in the 'family'?)
I am a little interested in the stuff Vaughn was confessing before the car hit. But seriously, they almost totally lost me on this one. Not only was the season ender bad..it *was* quite seriously the WORST episode that I've seen. And the question I have is this: Was THIS what we've spent four years building to? WAS that the culmination of the Rambaldi storyline? The living dead???? People moaning through the streets??? A VERY bad rendition of a "B" flick?
Makes me angry I watched so long to get to THAT point. A big part of the reason I stuck with the show through the last couple of seasons was to see what happened with Rambaldi. I kept asking hubby last night why they weren't ending the show there. They should have. I don't see where the show could possibly go that would get...acceptable from here.
and then they showed Weiss and Marshall looking at satellite photos of the city destroyed, and they're looking crushed, thinking that the gang was dead ... yet, next thing we know, every one is back and Syd is forgiving Sloane, etc. and we never see Weiss and Marshall again. I never put much stock in the Rimbaldi storyline, so I didn't feel cheated, although I can definitely see where you are coming from on that point. The dialogue, production values, acting, etc. were very sub-par, IMHO.
