I am considering seeds I plant in my life. I consider the thoughts and feelings which I live out in any "today," that will bear fruit in the coming weeks and months.
I read a piece that reminded me: what we know of (and think of) our selves, and how we view our world from that self-knowledge, will precisely be expressed in our lives, in incremental stages. It is that trustworthy.
Mind you, this is about the core of my humanity. It is not about the "other" person or the "event" or the "things" in life. It is about the seed of self that I plant in the world. Sometimes, many times, it is also about engaging with the "other" and the "event" and the "things," of life. Yet the idea is not seeded there.
It is a simple thought and I quite like it.
