Bye bye, beautiful... don't bother to write
First of all, the big news. We finally decided on a band name, and it is:
Tessai.
(pronounced Teh-sigh.) Download our song Disturbance.
That topped off an awesome weekend. Friday night was spent at Ale House with Nicole, JJ, Issa, Ikam, Michelle, Danelys, and Luis. They have improved their wings dramatically. I also introduced Nicole to the wonder that is Liquid Cocaine. Issa had brought T3 on DVD, so we watched some of that in SENITAVISION ® - and I will definitely be getting the DVD if only to give my home theater a workout with the crane chase scene. Awesome.
Saturday was A PERFECT CIRCLE. Apart from getting drenched with rain, and one of the most horrible opening bands ever (I'm convinced that big bands take crappy acts on tour with them so that they will seem better by comparison), they fucking rocked. Maynard was perfect the entire show, he is still the best singer in the world, and Josh Freese is a fucking badass. The rest of the band was tight except for a couple noticeable mistakes, but otherwise the show ruled. They played just about every song you could have asked for, except Breña.
Today Nicole and I woke up early to go to some lecture on the Kabbalah at the Miami Book Fair for extra credit in her religion class, and after that we came home and napped for a while, then cleaned the house. She did most of the work but we vacuumed, dusted, mopped, did laundry, and threw out a bunch of shit including some last remnants of Lauren's which I was relieved to dispose of. Then I headed over to Damian's for the "let's pick a name already" meeting. Now I'm off to watch Finding Nemo with Nicole.
