life's so rad.
First of all...
It's my sex goddess' birthday today! Happy birthday overflowinglove!!!!
So I spent the weekend up in Gainesville with iathenaldyi, punkii_duckii and princess_kt. They were awesome hostesses. On Friday Ale took me CD/DVD shopping, where I picked up Nonpoint's "Separate Yourself" (!!) for $5 as well as Red Dragon, Pearl Harbor (Director's Cut) and Akira SE. She also gave me Ludacris - "Word of Mouf" and Skywind - "O2". Skywind is a hard rock band in the vein of Fuel and such, they are pretty cool. Ale also introduced me to Kill Hannah who are very Cure-ish, so check them out if you are into that kind of stuff. Finally she donated her copy of Chimaira's "This Present Darkness" to JJ the Chimaira superfan who flipped out.
Then on Friday night I got to meet Ale's friends Cristina and Sergio, who were both very nice. We went to eat at a pizza place called the Mellow Mushroom, and then met up with Flavia and KT and had ice cream at the Cold Stone Creamery. I gained like 18 pounds that night. I think we finished the evening by watching Half Baked.
Saturday we basically bummed around and watched movies and Family Guy most of the day. We watched Red Dragon, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, and Dazed & Confused. Flavia and her mom barbecued and Ale made the earth's greatest mashed potatoes and brownies. KT hung out and did homework. :) Then that night we went to the Oaks Mall and walked around some. I played Slipknot drums on the table with coffee stirrers at Barnie's and stole some of KT's oreo frappucino latte whatever-you-call-it. It was good because it tasted like oreo and not coffee. I despise coffee.
Sunday we just chilled and watched Goldmember, and I headed back to Miami at around 3. I picked up Raf since he had taken the bus up to visit his sister, and we drove back together, so that was cool. At night I watched some of the Marlins game with JJ and Issa and then saw Nicole for a bit afterwards.
Lastly... I got my Ren & Stimpy DVDs today! Woohoo!
