Something that means something to you. If there's meaning, then it's a good present.

For example, this really cool old dude I know gave me a present when I opened my restaurant. It was this little symbol kind of thing. In his world, there's this god who owns the symbol, and he's supposed to bring protection or something. It meant somethin', so it was nice to get.

...Or you could just splurge and get them a lot of food, so long as they aren't allergic. Nothin' wrong with food.
