"Since you're so willing to learn, I think a cross-cultural exchange is in order. I'll go first." Boldly, Kennedy leaned forward, placing his hand in her hair just behind her ear. He kissed Kara softly, lingering for far too long. He asked, "Are you still with me, or I do I need to repeat the lesson?"
Kara wasn't exactly surprised at the intimate contact of their lips, but his hand in her hair caught her off guard.
She smiled against his lips, blinking a bit when he pulled away. Her eyes were round and searching for a moment before she grinned again and said, "I think I need advanced lessons, Mister Kennedy." Unable to resist, Kara laid her hand on his neck, fingertips barely brushing the nape, and took what she'd asked for.
It was hardly taking from him as he offered the lessons to Thrace rather freely. And why shouldn't he? Archie was a teacher, after all, and he felt like it was his duty to complete the tutelage. Deepening the kiss slightly, he allowed his eyes to close and gave a big ol' thumbs up to his partner in crime, the sprig of mistletoe.
After a few moments of thorough... study, she drew away reluctantly, needing a moment to recover. At last she grinned up at him.
"Not bad, especially for school." She tilted her head to one side, considering his slightly flushed cheeks and indecorously ruffled hair. She grinned at the sight.
"The things I do for an encore aren't suitable for under the mistletoe," he promised, following up with a gnaw at his bottle lip. Waggling his eyebrows at Kara, Kennedy then looked up at the mistletoe and wondered if he could get away with carrying it around everywhere he went. It would certainly make things more... sexy.
Kara couldn't help laughing. Archie was so earnest, she was torn between ruffling his head and stealing another kiss. Feeling the former would be a bit much, she did the latter, but this time when she drew away, she kept her body close, looking up at him from well within his personal space.
"Where are they suitable for? Because you may not have realized, but in certain situations, I can be very accommodating." Sure she was smirking, but her eyes were challenging and quite serious.
He smirked. "I've no doubt about that. None at all," Kennedy assured, blue eyes chasing her features. There was no doubt, she had the ability to get under his skin in just the right way. "Give me five minutes -- I'll find somewhere." Haha, oh Archie.
Her first impulse was to laugh, but the thrill of expectation got in the way, and she merely smiled up at him, her eyes dark and full of promises. At least there were some promises Kara had no trouble keeping.
She moved away from the mistletoe as Archie left her, feeling it wouldn't do to kiss anyone else passing by (and very much not wishing to lose the sense memory of Archie's lips against hers), and waited, taking stock of the rest of the party-goers. She couldn't help feel a little sorry for them - after all, she was the luckiest one there to have been so well-met beneath the mistletoe.
