a looooong belated post

It's been a year and a day since i posted (not really). So much to say. Where to begin? :)

Light in the Piazza
Start with the fun stuff. Saw Leslie (Henstock) for iced coffees before her 'opening night' performance in LA. She's so beautiful and sweet. After coffee we headed backstage and she gave me a tour showing off the sets and costumes - those dresses are stunning. Then i got together w/ my friend Travis (my theatre buddy) to see the show from the middle center section of the orchestra (great seats).  It was a phenominal show and the singing/music was superb. My only complaint surprisingly was with Elena Shaddow who i'd heard so many great reviews about. In my humble opinion (without having seen any other Claras before the performance) she acted too old for the role and so when at moments she acted naive and young it looked silly.  I LOVED Christine Andreas though. She's been a favorite for ages - since i heard Scarlet Pimpernel. Wow. What a voice - FABLE and DIVIDING DAY are my favorites.  Wow.  The Fabrizio (David Burnham) was great too, strong voice that melts your heart with looks to kill (especially in "Say It Somehow").

Optomitrist
Went to see the eye doctor a couple weeks ago and he prescribed glasses for driving and distances. he says I would have failed the eye test @ the DMV - gosh! I didn't realize it was that bad until he gave me some lenses to look through. WOW. Got 'em now. They're a warm beige color and rather cute. Still getting used to them resting on my nose.

Elections
I voted. Yep. Not too happy about the results - especially all the bills that passed. But I'll stay mum for now.

The Saga of Jason
My boyfriend Jason and I had a discussion last Friday and I ended up breaking up with him but frankly all is rather wierd/dramatic so I'm not sure what really happened or what is really going on... Drama, Drama... We're going to talk this week hopefully so all can be resolved/figured out.

Work
I'm working for my dad's company, Dot Line Corp., as the personal assistant to the Marketing/Advertising Vice President.

Awana
I am a leader @ Awana at my church for five adorable 3rd (&4th) grade girls. They are the cutest and sweetest things ever. Had a cooking party this weekend and boy was that a sight. Haha. You'll be happy to hear there were no fires or burnt cookies.

Danielle!
Danielle (my childhood chum) got married on Saturday the 11th. Holy Cow. So beautiful - she looked like a true princess and so happy! Who's next? :)

Senior Pictures
Yep. Getting those done today... Hope they come out good :) Caio!
