briefly, this is what i did:
Tate Britain
saw my favorite pieces (Ophelia and Lady of Shalut) again and then went to see the Turner exhibit. Beautiful! I bought 3 postcards of those paintings and a small replica of Ophelia so hopefully jason can take it home with him and my dad can hang it in my room :)
St. James Park
we girls (kathy, hristina and i) wandered through the park enjoying the beauty and i believe i must have taken a dozen photos of the fowl in the park. beautiful.
National Gallery
saw several paintings from ea. era (incl. di Vinci, Raphael, Van Gogh, Constable) and bought 2 more post cards and 2 gift books which i can give as gifts.
Notting Hill - Portobello Road
you might be curious why i'm going for the 3rd time but today is special since its the TRUE saturday market with fruit and vegetable stands... i bought a bunch of red grapes (which i've continously been calling strawberries... heaven knows why!) and a crepe (with strawberry sauce). And i bought a christmas gift for Cliff (Jason's dad) - it was more than i had wanted to spend but it was way too cool to pass up.
