Owen meets the original Captain Jack Harkness
Searching for this at the other site wanting a specific story. That one's not working so I'll be a little bit more broad, hoping for the best. I'd like to read a story where Owen meets the other Jack Harkness. The one I read (and lost) starts out (at least for Owen) when he's trapped in the nuclear plant going critical. He's dead (brought back by the Glove) and Toshiko is dying from Gray's bullet to her stomach. As the reactor explodes Owen is blinded by the flash. When he regains his sight he's surprised to find himself alive again, laying on the floor in a dance hall, in the year 1941 with Captain Jack Harkness standing in front of him, just seconds after Tosh and Jack stepped through the light back to the present. Owen spends the night with Jack and they find themselves falling in love. Owen contacts Torchwood of that time for help in bringing the both of them back to his present. Can't recall his deal with them but I remember him telling Jack repeatedly to ditch his plane in a certain place. They make it back 'home' safely.
