This is my first post to this community. I posted this request on another story find community and they gave me so good recs but also suggested I look here also.
I'm going back through Torchwood episodes and was watching the one with the backhistory of Ianto getting the job at Torchwood 3. His face after Jack changed his mind after their little pteradactyl encounter looked like he wasn't really thrilled about the possible terms of employment. (I know that's not what the actor said the character's motivation was, but still). Are there any stories that have Jack and Ianto starting a relationship right at the beginning, but mostly because Ianto thinks it's necessary to keep his job? Of course, I'd prefer stories where everything works out and they really end up loving each other, etc, but I'd love to read something where there was that misunderstanding at the beginning that needs to be worked through.
