I just read this really, really brilliant story by paperclipbitch call That Old Black Magic. It's an amazing exploration of Ianto's life through cups of coffee. ...and my description does not do it justice.
Anyway, there was this part set during "They Keep Killing Suzie", which struck me as being interesting.
“Thank you for this,” she tells him, “I knew there was a reason why I always liked you best.”
Ianto gives her a smile, it’s awkward but it’s real, and then he’s gone. Suzie sits and listens to the silence, contemplating how he’ll feel when it turns out she betrayed them all. Again.
...can anyone suggest more fics that involve Ianto and Suzie getting on well? It really works, in a weird sort of way.
