Five things I'm done with, thank you.
Here's a meme idea for you. Name five experiences you've had that you do not wish to go through again.
1) Leg surgery. Both of my legs were sawed in half about a third of the way down from the knee, rotated, and then bolted back together to heal in a new configuration. Three months in casts, unable to walk. Another month or so followed in "walking casts." Another four months after that out of casts, no walking without crutches, found me attending junior high school in a wheelchair. Two years after the first surgery? Oh yeah, they go back in to take out the metal framework, which meant another couple of months in casts and wheelchairs. Did I mention having to re-learn how to walk? Yeah, fucking no.
2) Broken wrist. Fell off a damn picnic table. Arms don't bend that way in that place. Yeah, no.
3) Rolling an SUV. In my defense, I was just the passenger. If I haven't told this story, tell me and I'll tell it separately. Thoroughly no.
4) Living in the half-finished basement of my parents' home. That one followed a divorce. It was better than living on the street, I don't doubt, but no. Thanks but no.
