valkyrwench and I were watching Superman Returns. I love that movie. At one point, we were talking who we'd cast if we were making a fan film. From there, we had the idea of making a meme. Here are the rules:
1) Pick a movie. Any movie. Preferably your favorite.
2) Cast the film using only people on your friends list and if you must, the friends lists of your friends.
3) Post the results. Explain choices if you like.
Like Ali, I present you with my cast for Superman Returns.
Lois Lane: naamah_darling. The look, the face, and the attitude. They're all there. Don't misunderstand; Lois is no damsel in distress. She gets into trouble because she goes looking for it.
Lex Luthor: nata5. Again, this is mostly attitude and the ability to make you buy the role. He would have to shave his head, of course.
Jimmy Olsen: codecattx.
Perry White: gridlore. Perry is the grizzled veteran of journalism in Metropolis.
Martha Kent: odanu. Not the right age, not even close. Some amount of makeup would be necessary, naturally.
Richard White: A nice, handsome guy, hit with a Kryptonian cockblock. Sucks. This does not reflect on my choice of actors: sonofpan.
Jason Lane: This is a tough one, considering the general lack of five year old boys who have LiveJournals. cerval, I'm thinking Galen for this role in a couple more years. (I'm willing to bend rule #2; if he had a LiveJournal, he'd definitely be on his mother's friends list.)

Clark Kent, aka Superman: A nice guy, a jutting jaw, and utterly serious in the moment. eleccham. A little styling mousse and he even has the spit curl.
