Boozahology 103: History of the Russian Beverolution
Okay, on the theory that two wrongs don't make a right but three lefts do, I have this to say:
1) Minute Maid OJ = yuck. I can choke down an 8 oz. serving only because it's good for me.
2) Stolichnaya vodka = medical sterilization solution. Odorless, but not tasteless. Good gods, this is not a sipping vodka.
3) Minute Maid + Stoli = a very drinkable Screwdriver. Actually, I mixed what was either a fairly weak Screwdriver or the secret recipe for Tropicana OJ, which is exactly what that drink tasted like.
So yeah. Don't poke fun; at least I've achieved a third alcoholic beverage which I can stand to drink.
