Typical.
It takes a looming deadline 72 hours before a website is due before I panic and put in a solid 6 hours a day building a website that actually looks decent and is built properly. As far as I’m concerned, it’s the first website I’ve built using proper methods, instead of a mish mash of nonsensical HTML. Haha. It’s
here in case you’re interested. Only 4 pages were built though: the homepage, a featured article, a sub-section of articles, and the subscription page.
Less than 10 days before my final assessment, I sit at my desk (rather, the dining table) and panic like crazy trying to rack my brains thinking of how I should do up my portfolio which is required to be submitted, with our semester’s works inside.
It’s 3.20am, and I’m am majorly relieved I’ve finally settled on an idea I am pleased with. If I’m honest, I’m rather excited and hopefully it all turns out well.
That aside, I hate the shitty printers that are available to us poor students who cannot afford off-set or Bras Brasah prices. How the heck is it possible for your damn colour tone to change halfway through the printed page? How the hell is it possible that my home printer seems to give me a better print out with smaller grains than your huge ass ones?! If my home printer could print A3 I wouldn’t even give you money for your crap prints.
Fancy raising prices just because students are rushing for assessments. DEATH TO YOU.
Rants aside, I’m actually pretty excited to get all the semester’s projects out of the way and begin on my portfolio tomorrow. Please let printing go well for my ads and magazine!
