So I went running today over at Tiyan. The whole car ride there, I was kind of arguing with my mother, so by the time we arrived, I was raring to go burn off some steam. I ran for a bit, still pretty upset -- only to realize that there's this girl coming toward me who looked really familiar.
It turned out to be Kellie. She was surprised to see me, and told me she didn't recognize me at first. "Who's that emo girl?" she apparently thought to herself. (Well, I was upset...)
We started running together and did that for a few minutes until we started running up that fricking hill -- at the top of which I stopped to walk.
Then as we caught our breath, we started talking about -- other things. >>
That cheered me up a bit after The Car Ride from Hell (which really wasn't the worst car ride or argument I've had with my mom, sadly.)
The point is that I'd probably be horribly upset still if I hadn't run into Kellie -- but our paths crossed, and they crossed for a reason, and because of that, I find myself reminded that God's got my back. It's nice to remember that, especially when the semester's about to wrap up and I find myself bombarded with papers and tests and last minute assignments and NaNoWriMo word counts.
Which reminds me, I have a page due tomorrow on an article for English. D;
I am so glad Wednesday's a holiday. I need to catch up on everything. ...though I'll probably just waste the day playing Professor Layton. D;
