spanish lovin'

sigh. in a rather bad mood, no thanks to certain people.

luckily i have my Spanish team(s) to cheer myself up. the U21s did okay against Kazakhstan with a narrow 2-1 win in the Euro qualifiers. i watched most of the match on livestream but it died in the last few minutes (when the winning goal was scored!!!) so i didn't manage to catch that. i did see Granero's pretty free kick though. he is pretty too, ^^ although his nose looks like it might have been broken when he was a kid. but wow, his hair could rival Puyol's. XD the annoying thing is the U21s are so, so underreported and covered compared to the NTs, so when i wanted to Google the results, all i got were betting sites instead. even UEFA's site isn't updated as well as it should be - the match lineups are apparently still "not ready" despite the match having been over 1.5 days ago. so much for encouraging up and coming talent.

and the older boys did okay too against Bosnia-Herzegovina with Villa scoring the only goal. it aired at 4am this morning and i was way too tired from playing Wii at Mingyan's house to stay up. none of my livestreams worked anyway. >_> Bojan got called up again but didn't play - again. i hope he's not too discouraged. :/

collected my rocket hoodie + tee from QY yesterday. the hoodie's abit shorter than i would have liked, but otherwise it keeps me pretty warm. i look like i'm 10 though. XD met Salt and Jeremy at Orchard after that (F21 is having a sale, girls. anyone interested in attacking the store with me?) and then we took forever to decide what to do. finally clambered on a 700 where i was almost squashed to death by a very weird man who thought he was Tarzan, the way he was holding on to the hand rings. O_o we got off near Serene Centre and tapao-ed nasi lemak from Adam Road Hawker Centre + 2 tubs of ice-cream from Island Creamery before Mingyan kindly came to save us and drive us to her house. :D

we originally planned to have a "romantic" dinner by the pool when it started raining. -_- so we had to evacuate into the house where Rauf (Mingyan's dog) got quite annoyed that we were eating and he didn't have a share. XD Salt and Mingyan popped out with a surprise (belated) birthday cake for Jeremy and i (LOL) and he blew MY candle out! stupid boy. >_> after we'd stuffed ourselves with the yummeh chocolate cake we ran upstairs to attack Mingyan's Wii.

omg. in total i played 4.5 hours STRAIGHT of Wii - Mario & Sonic at the Olympics, Cooking Mama and Wii Sports. my arms. hurt. like. CRAZY. i can't move them without wincing at all. oh god. but srsly i think we were really high, bolstered by the huge servings of ice cream that Jeremy doled out. he ate half a tub + more all by himself, which prolly explains why he was still pestering us to play Wii boxing at 2am. Wii sports is crazy fun! i love the tennis & bowling games, although tennis can be quite violent. i whacked Mingyan's hand and Lix whacked my back. @_@ and Wii boxing was just insane. it was so exhausting that we had to take turns to box each round for each character. XD

yeah. so that's why i couldn't stay up to watch Spain play despite reaching home at 3am. XD

oh yes. i meant to put this up here...

i love these boys. <3 too bad Fernando had to miss this round of training! is it wrong that i think Cesc-Bojan make the kutest bffs? Bojan is so adorable. as is Santi. XD ignore del Bosque's alarmingly large belly and focus on the Spanish lovin' going on. :D

p.s. new layout + header + profile. :)
