so, i had quite a lot of fun the past few days - meeting Sheryl, Sabbie and Ingrid for gelare on friday night, then sitting by the pool at my house till 2+am talking; going to Mingyan's house yesterday to play Wii with Yunru and Lix till 1+am... yes, i've been having late nights. :) but it was nice and i wasn't out clubbing or getting myself dead drunk or something, just hanging with friends. gosh. the Wii is srsly more tiring than i expected. my arms postively ache, and i suspect the silly rowing game and Boogie had something to do with it. we looked quite deranged. XD
anyway, i guess that's the end of the good news. Lisah just told me that Fernando proposed, she accepted, and the wedding's next summer. i Googled it myself and i guess it's true. i know it's really silly to feel upset but idk... i mean, i've liked him for over 2 years, so i suppose that counts for something. well, at least she seems like a nice normal person. not a disgusting wag or something. although Pearlyn suspects she had a boob job. O_O
sigh. i guess that means i have to change my tag for him now. i hope it's not a shotgun marriage and that they have many kute babehs in the future. :/
mom sprained her hand this afternoon (don't ask how, i found it slightly amusing but she'll kill me if she found out i wanted to laugh) so i have to wake up at 6am to drive my brother to school tmr. and then i have to bring mom to the 铁打 (idk what you call it in English - a bonesetter?) to get her hand looked at. right now she can hardly move a single muscle on her hand without being in great pain. O_O dad applied 正骨水 for her twice already so i hope that helps. as a result of this, i wound up cooking dinner by myself (since the men in the house are useless) and did the laundry, so that sort of compounded the arm/shoulder ache i already had from Wii yesterday. @_@
and... more timetabling/bidding woes. i'm re-bidding for FT and hoping to get into Ethics and Social Psych as well. PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE let me get my bids this time! *prays* :( Ruthie and i have sort of worked out what we want to do next term already - IE(A), CAT, Dev Psych, Cognitive Psych and probably Democracy. awesome :) i'm pretty set on double majoring in psych and polsci, although everyone is like huh but won't it be easier to get a job with marketing like the rest of the world is doing? -.- over the past year i've come to realise that i honestly have no interest in business so i'd rather not waste my time and effort. and who says people who study psych/polsci can't find jobs?! >_>
Pearlyn: i didn't recognise villa's daughter though, coz i imagined all of villa's kids to have the facial hair thing he has
