in case you didn't notice, my Italy-related entry titles are all food words. nocciola = hazelnut (excellent gelato flavour), cioccolata = chocolate (duh), and aranciata is orange juice. :) just goes to show how greedy i am.
anyway, here's part 2!
inside the Grotto. look how small the opening is! btw, the glowing blue water is 100% naturally created. it's all due to the reflection of the sunlight in the water. there are NO special effects, people! it's absolutely beautiful. the guide told us that it was the private swimming pool of the Roman emperors that used to live there. COOL HUH? :D it's really, really amazing. and it's not that big, actually. 1 round takes about a minute or so, depending on how fast/slow your boatman rows, and whether he decides to serenade you along with all the other boatmen - ours sang Santa Lucia for us. XD this was my favourite part of Italy, hands down. :) i would sooo do it again. not everyone who visits Capri Island gets a chance to see this, cos it depends on the weather and tide. you need low tide + lots of sunlight. :)
if i were really (x1000000) rich, i'd buy a holiday home here. :D
i think Ferrari should ask my dad to endorse them. now he has a Ferrari jacket and sneakers. O_o and he doesn't even watch F1! >_>
anyway, i've got a pretty busy week ahead of me.
tmr - gonna watch 21 and dinner with Sabbie (and maybe Sheryl, if she decides we're worthy of her presence...)
monday - matric guide duty + dinner with Salt & co.
tues - buying stuff for camp + vph meeting
weds - day 0 of camp T_T
thurs to sat - mock camp 2

i've taken quite a liking to Cobra Starship now. i know their latest album was put up on
losertunesa while ago but i didn't dload it. i managed to dload 7 songs and i really like their style. i'd say it's... unorthodox? idk. you'd prolly find them similar to Fall Out Boy and PATD. if anyone has their entire album please let me know! thank you. :)
haven't been following tennis AT ALL since i went to Italy. i guess Euro really took over my life. but anyway, this year's Wimbledon is boring cos all my favourites got knocked out early, and when Djokovic's out of the picture it's an automatic Federer-Nadal final. *yawns* this is getting boring! can some other male players step up their game? and women's tennis... idk. it just isn't the same without Henin. now i'm only left with Ivanovic (and maybe Sharapova) to support, and they're not consistent enough. sigh. Zheng Jie did us Chinese proud but Serena threw her out, which makes for a Williams sisters final. >_>
never mind. there's the British Grand Prix on sunday! go boys. :) can't wait till the GP in September!
