@_@ isn't it odd how i feel guilty for not doing work on friday nights now? :S
mom's birthday was on wednesday. dad took us to dinner at a ~posh~ restaurant and i had pretty nice lamb. i couldn't find mom a decent present so i took her to lunch on thursday instead. :P yes, i'm a cheater, i know. we ate at Werner's, this German restaurant which we used to frequent when we were still living at Marine Parade. i swear i haven't eaten there for at least 9 years. O_O they've changed menus and upped their prices significantly though, which caused my wallet much anguish. :( but okay, it's for a special occasion. got my hair cut after that (which was sort of the reason for going all the way to East Coast). Aunty Alice (the hairdresser) got a little too happy with the scissors and i am unhappy with the tufts of hair which are supposed to be a fringe. >_> i'll forgive her since she's the only hairdresser i trust. :P i will die when she retires, which might be soon actually. i think she's got to be at least 60, seeing as her grand-daughter's already 6. O_O nuuu don't retire plz. i won't let anyone else touch my hair! /random

i think i can sort of say that my hunt for cny clothes is over. *sighs in relief* thanks to mom, really. we were at Raffles City on thursday and Esprit didn't have the shirt i wanted in my size, so mom hopped down to Centrepoint yesterday and got it. so i have 2 set of clothes now. i don't think i'll bother looking for more. :P i can't wait for cny. it's the only 15 days of the year where stuffing your face full of bak kwa and sweets is legitimate, plus if you're unmarried you get paid for it. :D okay, not paid for it. but you get money, which is very gratifying. XD with teh moneyz, i shall be able to afford that $40 Billabong wallet which Jacq brought to my attention on tuesday. and then we'll have matching wallets. LOL. speaking of cny, there are a billion bottles of pineapple tarts lying around my house. @_@ i'm going to put on 320840983 kg this cny.
earned $4 for doing a psych research survey yesterday for Prof. :D it was full of amusing sentences like "Two watermelons cannot be held in one hand." XD i actually lol-ed while doing it. :X after RMSS, Ruth and i stayed back to discuss our AS worksheet. and then we found Edward outside our classroom and interrogated him, since he took AS under Williams last semester. he actually had all the answers to our worksheet but we're extremely honest people *puts halo on* so we just pestered him to teach us how to do the questions instead. XD we still haven't finished discussing the worksheet though. it's driving us nuts.
*sighs* much to be doing this weekend. please don't rain this afternoon. *begs* i need to collect my contacts/drop off my glasses off, return my severely overdue library book and do lots and lots of work for school. and i just realised. how am i going to complete my polsci readings next week when the whole weekend will be burnt cny-visiting?! i can't possibly go to my granduncle's house and sit in a corner reading Sen! ;____________; oh, this is evil. :(
