great day in sporting for the teams i support. Man Utd won 1-0 (vs Tottenham Hotspurs), Maria Sharapova won the US Open, and Schumi won the Italian Grand Prix. sad that he's retiring, but at least there's Kimi taking over. :) my brother gave me his Ferrari tee because he's outgrown it and i've stopped growing since, well, forever. lj hung (again) yesterday. i was so pissed that i didn't feel like retyping the entry. sigh.
this time, less words.
so, dad redeemed this free hotel stay thingy at the Pan Pacific Hotel. we went there on thursday afternoon.
had dinner at Keyaki, the japanese restaurant. nice food but the woman at the next table kept staring at us. yes, i know i'm pretty.
rushed off after dinner to watch Forbidden City with sab.

overall, the performance was touching, poignant, sad and funny. if what happened is historically accurate, it would be a tragic tale. Kit Chan has a good voice, but for me, Sheila Francisco was excellent. the little boy who played the 4 year old Prince Tung Chih was sooooo kute!
tried to walk back to the hotel after FC but lost my way. was wandering around outside Marina Square (at 11+pm), really freaked out. note to self: don't wear skirts if you're going out at night. had 3 freaky perverts leer and call out to me. O_O
friday: shopping marathon day with mom. we entered Marina Square at 10am and i bought my first top by 11am. haha.

had dinner at Zambuca, an italian restaurant.
