Movie recommendation: Robogeisha
So there's this movie about killer geisha robots, and it's actually hella funny.
It revels in its stupid premise, becoming sort of a Japanese Austin Powers-style gagfest, except with added violence. Ridiculous violence that's made all the more absurd by the fact that everyone who falls victim to it exclaims what just happened to them and how it makes them feel. "My nose is bleeding! It really hurts!" "My face is melting! I didn't want it to end like this!" Etc.
The movie makes a half-hearted attempt at putting a story about a sister rivalry in there, but it's all an excuse to throw gags at you. Stupid, hilarious gags. Everything about the movie is tongue-in-cheek. Or metal sword tongue sticking out of cheek, as that may be.
