Dude. We're studying ideal gases in physics 7B, and the prof was talking about compression and expansion of ideal gases. And see, in hallways, there's these convienent red cannisters full of compressed CO2 just lying around wating to expand...
So Professor Zettl, my new favrotie professor ever, deliberately lit a fire in Leconte in order to justify using a fire extinguisher.
Best. Class. Ever.
We also talked about what happens to humans in vacuums. Apparantly our bodies can totally tolerate a hard vacuum, and the last thing you'll feel before you pass out is the sylivia boiling on your tongue. (Apparantly a NASA astronaut experienced this when he had a tear in his spacesuit during training on Earth). So if you ever get ejected into space, your main concerns would be the cold and suffocation, not the intrinsic properties of vacuums. Unless you hold your breath. If you old your breath in a hard vacuum like space your lungs will explode.
But other than that, you're totally safe :D
