Yes, oh thanks, yes it really is, I would not have survived. Ahh...I don't really like thinking of Near as autistic, although a lot of people seem to think that of him (and L). I formed many perceptions of him during the course of DN, but 'invalid' was not one of them.
Don't you think Near would apply Occam's razor? :D He's very simplistic. I think he'd rather like rudimentary methods. L's just a smidgen more elaborate.
Mad genius! Yes. B is so like Frankenstein, especially with his fascination with human anatomy.

Do you know when you mentioned several time zones. Maybe a few years, longevity-wise I heard the music theme for 'The Twilight Zone'? I am sure it's just the meds messing with my mind.
Neither would I. Stressed is a look most unbecoming on me. I must hastened to add that I do not view Near as an invalid. There was this model in 'America's Next Top Model' who suffers from a mild case of Asperger's. Her name was Heather (I can't remember which season) and she wasn't an invalid it's just that she could not relate too well to other people and stuff, which was how I started thinking that this could have also been the case with Near.
I say, I look forward even more now to 'Icarus' as I would like to see how you perceive him. You do have some of the most intriguing ideas about characters and I wriggle in anticipation.

Oh yeah, I remember Heather! I loved that girl. She really tried very hard. I still can't quite wrap my mind around Asperger's, I've read both Near and L afflicted with it and I can't fathom exactly what it is--something about confusing emotions with numbers.

Cough. Matt/Near. (It is solely fangirl-based because the two of them never interact in canon. So forgive me for that.) There's a trifling lack of it anywhere, but I love what I have read--it can be so heartrendingly bittersweet at times (remember I am a sap) and adorable at others. Plus I love Matt. Very much.
