Babe you totally deserved it even if I think you should have been placed first. Alright, so I haven't read the first placed fic yet but still...
And if that is what you thought of 'TSL' then I am not wasting my time on it. I still have to get my hands on 'TAT' AND ' The Killing Joke'. Apparently a MUST read for all Joker fans out there.
Lollll, oh no, it deserved first. Very fun, that entry is. I'm putting together a rec list/post for Fly so feel free to browse.
*is intrigued* I've heard of that somewhere! Must Czech it out. And Alan Moore's um um um oh crap what's it called...not Watchmen...AGH the Jack the Ripper one. :s
*scratches head* Darling, not seriously? Did Moore do one on Jack the Ripper? I am simply far too ignorant and forgetful these days. I blame studying. My ass it makes me smarter, just more absent-minded and out of touch really.
Anyway, do go Czech it out. It has all the requisite psychological, insane, deviant behaviour that DN fans adore. Or so I'm told.
FROM HELL. That's the one. Why didn't I just use wikipedia before?
Birds of an absent-minded feather flock...wait a minute what was I saying? *canned laughter* It's probably me reading the dictionary/writing fanfiction all the time. Deletes all those non-vital brain cells unrelated to the creative process. Like the 'short-term memory' part or the 'common sense' part. Yeah.
Oh btw, finished TAT last night. The ending seemed a bit rushed to me, although that's probably because I rushed through it. It's good though, entertaining, sophisticated, if you're a lover of the art world it's practically a must-read, and if you're a knave (like me) it's packed with a wealth of information that's fun to read anyway.
Well, shame on me too then. I totally forgot wiki! And I dare to call my myself a student *face palms*
I think common sense was the first to be thrown out in very reader / writer of fan fiction. Practically requisite, I should think.
Oh and that squeal you heard from across the world? I will swear on any available grave that it was NOT me whilst checking out the list.
Could I steal that Joker pic of yours? It's absolutely darling I don't have any Joker ones yet.
Your TAT paragraph just cracked me up. I keep seeing a tiny, deviant knave (complete with the hat) bulldozing through TAT despite it being past bedtime already.
What's it...I got it from joker_icons (I took seven lol.) Since you asked so nicely, go right ahead, but there are Good & Plenty ones at that comm, and I don't mean the candy.
Definitely, definitely. Pay attention to other people? No. Fanfiction Yes!
xD You like my rec list? I will express my joy in the form of primordial keyboard smashing: alwkrelksffdhlsfaK; I'm glad you like. It took forever. *wipes figurative sweat from figurative brow, figuratively*
Ahahahaha. Thievery, Knavery. Goes-hand in-hand. xD Yes, I rather like my knave hat as well. *cocks jauntily* NowIhavenothingtoread :/
Anyway, while you luxuriate in 'quintillion' and 'quintessences' and 'quadruplets' the word 'faffing' has been stalking me. Yes, 'faffing'. *bows head in shame*
I will now move swiftly to your response of my review. Please don't stop. Your references make me feel ever so smart when I catch them.

Deviant behaviour? Oh my favourite kind. :]

You still have your ever faithful (and at the moment) forgotten dictionary. I should not be laughing, I am the same.
Ah, thievery and knavery hand-in-hand indeed while the other feels up pockets.

I could read the dictionary, you're right about that. I find the 'q' section particulary spellbinding.
"quintillion" is such a wonderful word.
Ouch! Pardon, I cut myself on your sharp wit.
