I thought it time for an update:
I am a bit skitzo when it comes to what the Lord is doing in me soooo here is everything He has told me so far this semester.
- My life verse: "Then Jesus said to the twelve, 'Do you aldo want to go away?' But Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God.'"
There are times when I envy the ungodly, I feel myself straying, but then I think...where would I go? To the world? I was once there...what did it ever give me of value? No, the Lord alone is sufficient. "Here's my heart, take and seal it. Seal it for Thy courts above."
- "I would lay down my life just to be by Your side." Would you? Dear daughter, "He who does not take his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it." (Matt 10:38,39) Laying down your life is not just martyrdom, but a daily, continual act. How can you expect to die for Me physically, if you cannot die to your flesh? I pray, help me Jesus.
-You cannot say that your life is being lead by the Spirit, and yet not be led to pray. The Spirit leads us to the feet of Jesus. He leads us to interceed with the intercessor. If you are not burdened to your knees, I question your "leading of the Spirit".
-Let the fire in my heart melt the lead on my feet.
-Davids greatest sin was not with Bathsheba, but the pride He had to number the people of God. The first cost him the lives of two people, Uriah and his child, but the second 75,000 from among the Israelites.
-Genesis 26:15-17 Isaac dug again. Satan tries to hinder the wells of Water in our life, but I must dig again and again and again. DISCIPLINE. It isn't just getting the rubbish out, but replacing it with spiritual things.
-I've learned that even Christian friends will try and hinder you from living more for the Lord.
-Everyday I learn why I love England
