Summary: Tatsuya asks Ryo to come back to him.
Ryo was in a daze when he got out of bed to answer his phone.
"Yeah?" He asked sleepily.
"It's me." The person from the other line said.
"What do you want?"
"I'm outside. Come and meet me."
"No."
"Ryo, please? I have something to say."
Ryo hang up and grabbed his shirt then made his way down to meet the caller.
"Why are you here Tatsuya?" Ryo asked when he saw the other man standing outside his house.
"I just want to talk" Tasuya said.
"About what?"
"About us."
"There's no more "us", Tatsuya. If you' forgot, you're the one who ended it." Ryo said with a harsh tone.
"I know, Ryo and I'm really really sorry. That's why I'm here, I want to tell you that breaking up with you was the worst mistake I ever made in my life. I realized how hard it is to live a life without you--"
"Stop." Ryo said
"No. Listen to me--"
"I don't want to hear it--" Ryo was about to turn around and walk away but Tatsuya managed to grab him by the sleeve of his shirt to stop him.
"I love you, Ryo." Tatsuya said which made Ryo wince and pause.
"I'm sorry. I really am but I realized that I still love you very much." Tatsuya said as he continue to grab on to Ryo and tried to make the other man face him.
"Stop saying such lies, Tatsuya." Ryo said.
"I'm not."
Ryo yanked his arms to free himself from Tatsuya.
"BULLSHIT." Ryo said when he turned back to face the older man.
"You knew how much I loved you, Tatsuya, but you took it for granted so stop saying all this crap about loving me!" Ryo added.
"I know it's my fault and I told you, I'm sorry." Tatsuya said.
"Tatsuya, stop. I'll tell it to you straight, I'm with somebody now and unlike you, this person truly loves me and she's not afraid to show it to everybody."
"I heard about her but it doesn't matter." Tatsuya said.
"It doesn't matter? Listen to yourself! This is the only thing that matters! This is what made the difference. She loved me when you didn't. So please, stop this."
Tatsuya's tears began to flow on his beautiful face and Ryo can't bear to see him like that and just turned his head away.
"Ryo, please. Come back to me. I promise this time will be different. I'll do more than what she does."
Ryo felt a wave of emotions when he heard what Tatsuya said.
"Do you hear yourself, Tatsuya? It's not like that! I'll bet that you're only here because you heard I finally moved on and found somebody. You realized I'll no longer be there to wait for you that you suddenly want me. It doesn't work that way."
"But,you still love me, right? I know you do."
"Don't flatter yourself. You're the one who turned your back on me. You know I did everything for you. I fucking slept on your doorstep and begged you for another chance but what did you do? NOTHING. You avoided me while I looked like a fool running after you and now you just show up outside of my house telling me all of this bullshit? I'm not stupid. Not for you." Ryo said.
"No, Ryo--"
"You only want to see me breaking. You never loved me, Tatsuya and you never will. All you care about is yourself. What you want is to assure yourself that you're still the one that gets my heart breaking and you only want me now because I'm taken!"
"It's not that! I know I was wrong! Believe me, I regret everything that I did before!"
"Argh! STOP MESSING WITH MY HEAD! You know that for me, you're impossible to resist but after all that happened, I already learned. Look Tatsuya, I'm going to put it this way. You--"
Ryo paused to look at Tatsuya's crying face.
"You were once the best thing that ever happened in my life but now, to me, you were just a dream that I've managed to have woken up to. A beautiful mistake that I was finally able to correct. Tatsuya, I know this will hurt you but my life is not about you anymore. So please, leave." Ryo said and again turned his back on Tatsuya to go back inside.
"You know what they say? Sometimes, someone comes into our life that changes everything. They raise our standards, makes us laugh, gives us butterflies in our tummies and makes us feel like "us". There is something about that person that you can't put into words and even if you're no longer with that person, you just can't bear to let him go. In my life, you're that person, Ryo. Believe it or not, there's a part of me that will always be in love with you." Tatsuya said.
"I'm sorry, Tatsuya. I can't do this anymore. Go home." These were the last words Tatsuya heard from Ryo as the younger man walked back to his house and left Tatsuya crying in pain outside his doorstep.
A/N: It has been a while. Was working on The Prophecy's Curse's update but there's too much inspiration to write angst that I ended up with this. :/
