summary: kame is a quiet transfer student and the cousin of one of jin's bestfriend,yamapi. he admired kame the moment he saw him.when jin found out that kame has a problem about his ex-girlfriend coming to japan. he readily volunteered to help but he still doesn't know that helping kame includes wearing a dress.
the day after, shun an yu left for America. kame, jin and yamapi accompanied them to the airport.
"thanks for everything ne?" jin told them
"no... we should be thanking you.. arigatou!" yu said.
"when will you be coming back?" yamapi asked them
"we still don't know. it depends when we have a project here." shun answered
"ah. sou.. well, just call me when you're here ne? we'll eat out."
"hai.. thanks.."
kame just sttood there not saying anything.
"still upset about yesterday?" yu asked him
"no. it's just... i'll miss you." kame finally said
"we'll be back." yu smiled then sighed. "i'll miss you too..."
yu hugged kame and gave him a peck on the cheek.
"we'll be going ne?" yu said afterwards
"hai.. be happy.." kame said
yu smiled at kame.
yu looked at jin and smiled. she walked towards him and hugged him too.
"gambare... tell me what happens and take care of him" yu whispered to jin
"hai..."
"well...we need to go.. ja ne!" yu told them
"hai.. ja!" yamapi waved at the two.

it's been a month since shun and yu left. jin and yamapi often took kame out and seems that everything they've done paid off. kame is now participating more in class and he's been smiling more often.
the three of them were sitting on the cafeteria when ryo and ueda came.
"jin!!!" ryo called
"uhmm? what is it ryo-chan?"
"takizawa-sensei..hime..festival..you..." ryo tried to explain but nobody understood
"ssshh..calm down ryo. don't get too excited." ueda said
"can you tell me what ryo wants to say?" jin asked ueda
"well, takizawa-sensei was supposed to tell you this but since you left class early, he told me to pass the news to you. the school's having a festival next month and..."
"and what?" yamapi asked
"each class will participate and will compete with each other."
"ooohhh... a competition! what's the prize?" yamapi asked
ueda smirked and ryo jumped up and down.
"just tell us what it is" kame said.
"A TRIP TO OKINAWA!!!!" ryo said excitedly.
"WHAT?!" jin and yamapi jumped off their seats
the three of them, ryo, jin and yamapi, danced like idiots.
"what's so special about okinawa?" kame asked ueda as they watch the three dance around the cafeteria
"the three of them's been planning on going to okinawa since they were freshmen but they couldn't go."
"why?"
"lack of money. whenever they save enough, something comes up and they use up the money. the last time, it was jin's birthday and the three of them went all out with the party. if it wasn't for me, they'll still be washing dishes at the restaurant."
"ah.sou..what's in okinawa?" kame asked. ueda laughed at kame's question
"you don't know? okinawa's famous for its beaches!"
"the beach?"
"yup. those three bakas love the beach so much. that's the reason they all became friends. they all love surfing and eating out and going to tthe beach."
"ah..sou ka.. wait, how will our class win if you seniors are also participating?" kame asked ueda
"we won't be participating. there's only one senior class and i'm the class president of it."
"eh? sugoi.. being the senior class president and the student concil president.."
"hai.. that's why we can't join. i'll be one of the judges along with the whole senior class and the administration." ueda explained.
"ah..sou ka.. do you think we'll have a chance of winning?"
"hahaha! with a trip to okinawa as a prize? those three will do anything to win." ueda said

"no! that's not true!! you're lying!!!!"
*thud
jin woke up when he fell off the bed. he had a dream about a girl but he doesn't know who that girl is. he went to the kitchen and drank a glass of water. after that, he went back to sleep.
everyone in the class were gathered around yamapi's table when jin arrived.
"ohayou!" he greeted his classmates
"ohayou!" everyone greeted back.
jin went to his seat and immediately, everybody gathered around jin's seat.
"oi oi oi!! what do you think you guys are doing????" jin asked looking annoyed.
"ne, jin, what are we going to do for the festival?" one of his classmates asked.
"huh?"
"yeah jin. come on. tell us your plan. you are the class president anyway..."
everybody agreed and kept on talking at the same time
"how bout we do a haunted house??"
"no! let's make a takoyaki stand!!"
"eew! no let's--"
"SSSSSHHHHH!" jin slammed his palm on the table and everybody kept silent.
"can you please go back to your seat?" jin told them and everyone did what he said. when everyone was gone, ryo and yamapi approached jin.
"what is your plan oh-mighty-president?" yamapi asked
"i dunno.."
"what do you mean you don't know?" ryo asked
"you should know!! it's okinawa god damn it!!!" ryo shook jin uncontrollably
"pi! get ryo off me!! please!!" jin said and yamapi immediately pulled ryo.
when ryo has calmed down, the three of them thought.
"how about a haunted house??" yamapi asked.
"someone's bound to do that." jin said
"a takoyaki stand?" ryo suggested
"ryo, we have that just outside the school."
"i know i know!! how about---"
"NO!" jin said not letting yamapi finish.
"well then, you don't like our suggestions, let's hear your plans."
"i don't have one!" jin said
"see! atleast we have a plan!" yamapi said
kame was listening to the three's childish arguements.
"hey! kame! what are you laughing at?" ryo asked when he saw kame
"you three.. i can't believe how childish you can get."
"huh..atleast we have an idea. what about you? do you have one?" ryo asked
kame paused and thought.
"see, you're the same with--"
"an ikemen cafe..." kame said..
"a what?!" ryo asked
"an ikemen cafe.." kame repeated
"what--?"
"that's it! we'll do an ikemen cafe!!!" jin interrupted.
"that's a good idea kame!" jin said and hugged kame
jin was hugging kame longer than expected.
"uh..jin.. do you think..uh..maybe you can let go of me?" kame told jin in a low voice
jin who was enjoying the hug snapped back to reality and pushed kame.
"aww!" kame reacted to jin's push
"ah. gomen.." jin said
after settilng to kame's suggestion, the whole class particpated in making the plan work. kame and jin were the ones who lead the class.
the two of them often spend more time together in order to organize the plans. jin often sleep over at yamapi's and kame's house.
*knock knock
yamapi stood outside kame's bedroom.
"jin? kame? you guys still awake?" yamapi asked and knocked again. there was still no answer.
yamapi held the knob of kame door and slowly turned it. he peeked inside the room.
"EEEEHHHH?" was yamapi's reaction.
the two were definitely sleeping. in each others arms.
jin was lying on kame's bed, mouth wide open and slightly snoring. kame on the other hand has his head on jin's arms and had his arm on jin's torso.
yamapi just sighed and slowly went in. he fixed the papers lying on the floor and placed them on top of kame's desk. he got a blanket and placed it over his cousin and his friend. after that, he turned off the light and left the two to rest.

"YOSH-a!!! minna-san, GAMBATTE!" jin cheered
"YAAAA!!" everyone answered
all of them were ready for the festival. they had their uniform on and their room was decorated.
*ding dong
everyone went silent when they heard the speaker's signal.
"ohayou gozaimasu! ueda tatsuya desu..."
everyone was listening to the president talk.
"i am now officially opening the school festival. everybody, gamabatte and tanoshinde kudasai!"
with ueda's statement, everybody went to work and served the customers who went in their class. most of their customers were of course, girls.
many girls were walking up to jin and he was glad to serve them. kame watched as the girls approached jin. he had an annoyed look on his face.
"what's up with that face?" yamapi asked him.
"huh? nothing... those girls are just too noisy.." kame pointed at jin's direction
"eh? the girls with jin?"
"and he's enjoying it. tsss..."
"EEHHH?? why are you so affected? ne.. tell me the truth, are you jelous?" yamapi teased
"shut up! why would i be?"
"eeeeehhh.. you're jelous. haha!"
"i said i'm not--"
kame paused when he saw ueda pulling ryo by the ear.
"huh? what's up with tat-chan?" kame asked
"he saw ryo flirting with some girls." jin answered
"eh? why are you here?" yamapi asked
"yeah.. you're girls are waiting for you." kame said to himself
"what?" jin asked
"jin. kame's jelo--"
kame smacked yamapi's head.
"ITAI!!"
"that's what you get for being too talkative." kame told his cousin
"come on jin. let's serve those girls." kame dragged jin and left yamapi on his own

"and the winner for the school festival is....."
jin's fingers were crossed
"class.. 2A!!"
the whole 2A jumped up and down including kame.
"akanishi jin, please get your prize." ueda called jin and he went up the stage to claim it.
everybody were excited except for ryo.
"what's up ryo? aren't you happy? you've waited for this!!" kame exclaimed
"i am happy it's just that,,"
"tat-chan gave him a hard time last night." yamapi teased and laughed
"SHUT UP!" ryo said
jin was about to receive the prize when they were interrupted.
"ANO..."
everyone turned to see who the owner of the voice is...
"EEEEHHHH???!" jin reacted.
the girl's face lit up when he saw jin on stage. she ran towards him and hugged him tightly.
"ne ne ne ne ne... can you please let go of jin?" ueda said and pulled the girl off jin
jin's face looked like he saw a ghost.the girl stared at him, smiled and hugged him again.
"kyaaaaa!!" jin screamed
"jin! i missed you!!" the girl said.
the rest of the crowd just looked puzzled at what was happening on stage.
"who do you think she is?" kame whispered to yamapi.
yamapi also looked like he saw a ghost.
"this isn't happening... yu..yu.." yamapi stuttered
"YUKI!" ryo said out loud and kame just looked at jin and yuki on stage.

"kame! we're running behind of schedule!!" jin said as he and kame talked on the phone.
kame was busy at his shop. it seems like there were a lot of customers that day. he was repairing wedding gowns, designing ball gowns, taking flower orders
and everything. yamapi and maki were doing the same.
" i know i know but can we talk some other time. i'm quite busy today" kame said
"you're always delaying our plans!!ayase is arriving. if you want this to work,you'll have to make time for it. okay?!"
"i'm sorry. did you know, the bride's gown was ruined and the wedding's in two weeks...asied from that--" kame explained
"you have a lot of excuses!"
"i know.. but it's not like that. i'm just busy this week.."
"KAME! KAME! listen to me!look! time management is important if you'll go out with--"
a stood beside jin while he was buying some film for his camera
"if you'll go out with ayase, you have to learn time management i know some relationships who didn't--" jin said in a mellow voice
"WHY DID YOU CHANGE YOUR TONE??MAYBE THERE'S A WOMAN IN FRONT OF YOU!" kame hang up on him.
"hello? HELLO? ugh!!"

kame and jin attended a concert and kame was a little drunk. he was dancing all out.
"what are you doing?" he asked when jin pulled him
"let's go!"
"what is it?"
"let's go home!"
"i'm still having fun! can't you see i'm dancing?"
"that's not dancing!you're going wild. what will people say?!"
"i don't want to listen to you anymore!" kame said and went back to dancing but jin dragged him out.
when they reached kame's apartment, jin dragged kame out of the car and inside the house.
"what are you doing?" kame asked jin
"sit down!" jin pushed kame on the couch
kame stood up.
"i said sit down! BRAT!!!" jin pushed him again
"hey! don't forget that this is my house!" kame said
"i won't leave until you learn how to listen! that's the problem with you. you never listen! you so whatever you want, whenever you want!you're such a
spoiled brat!!"
"and you think you're an angel?" kame retorted and stood up
"shut up.."
"what?"
"Shut up! SHUT UP!!! sit down!NOW!"
kame was taken aback with jin's tone and sat down.
"do you wanna know why it's hard for us to get you a date?!you're a vacuum cleaner you'd suck the energy out of your partner because you're a nag with a
machine gun mouth!any girl will lose her wits trying to understand and accept all your quirks!" jin said
"that's enough..in case you've forgotten, i'm only doing you a favor." kame said
"CORRECTION...johnny called of the deal because they can't wait any longer"
kame's expression changed
"and so you know, kame-sama...i'm just doing this to help you and your desperate cause."
"i don't want you pity" kame said
jin walked out and went to the balcony. a few seconds after, kame followed.
"but i do need you help.hey...i'm sorry...i'll listen to you from now on and i'll behave myself."
"promise?"
"promise. do you think i still have a chance?" kame asked jin.

kame and jin were out at the bay. the were lying on top of jin's car.
"so if you know about the do's and don'ts in finding a perfect mate, why can't you find one for yourself?" kame asked jin
"why look for them when they can look for me?" jin said arrogantly
"you mean you're going to marry all your girlfriends?
"marry? who will marry? me? kame, marriage is not for me. NEVER." jin replied
"so you're just making your girlfriends believe you're taking them seriously?"
"no. they know the real score. besides, they enjot it. i take good care of them"
"don't you love any of them?as in..none?"
"LOVE? haha! kame, love is saying goodbye to your fondest dreams and saying hello to your worst nightmares."
"wow..what a negative thinker!"
"well, i saw it on my parents. my mom and dad loved each other so much. they expected too much from each other and ended up fighting and they did part ways.
my dad now lives in osaka with his new family and my mom is in the US.she's had lots of boyfriends there. some were even my age. and... a lot of my friends
are separated.you can count those who are still together and most of them chose to stay because of what? the kids? come on! i don't want to get into any of
that crap!so, what's the point of investing emotionally? right? right?"
jin turned to kame but the latter already fell asleep. he got his camera and focused it on kame but stopped when he zoomed into his face. kame looked so
beautiful and peaceful while sleeping.
the next day, the two of them, togetehr with koki, went to the park to jog.
they were running around and chasing each other while koki styed under a big umbrella and slept.
"just call me when you two are done, ne?" koki called and lied down."
the two of them continued running. they even played hide and seek. while jin was busy looking for kame, the latter jumped on his back. jin carried kame on
his back and ran around the park. if kame wasn't a guy, people would've thought that the two were a cute couple.
******
since the day jin helped kame, he became close not only to the latter but also to kame's family. he and koki often spend weekends with kame and his family.
kame's mother is very fond of jin while his father says that jin is his favorite opponent in chess. kame's aunt and sisters also like jin because he gives
life to their gathering by coming up with crazy games. even kame's nephews and niece like jin because he plays with them everytime he comes over.
jin was playing a game with kame's family while kame and maki stayed on the sides to watch. kame is carrying one of his nieces and was laughing his heart out
as he watches jin and his family play. maki on the other hand observes kame and smiles at how happy kame looked like.
another weekend is coming to an end and of course, jina and koki were there
"bye!" kame's sister said
"bye guys!" kame said
"goodnight"
"bye! i love you!"
"bye! take care."
everyone said their goodbyes including maki and yamapi who also spnd their weekend at the kamenashi's since they are considered as family.
"pi, don't forget to call me okay? check the fabrics we need for tomorrow." kame told pi
"hai hai.. i won't forget. and the flowers will be ready the day after tomorrow.."
"okay..bye!"
kame gave maki a peck on the cheek and gave pi a high five.
"to the right...to the left.."
kame can hear his aunts and jin singing happily
"to the right to the left.."
"okaaaaay!! that's enough!!" kame interrupted.
"bye!" his aunt told them
"bye.. i love you.." kame said and gave both his aunts a peck on the cheek.
"we love you too... we have to go..."
"bye jin!" the two women said
"bye sweethearts! take care!" jin waved at them.
jin took kame's hand and swirled him around
"come on! let's dance! to the right...to the left!" jin said.
"ne, boss.. we have a shoot tomorrow." koki reminded then went inside the car.
"yeah yeah!"
alright.. one turn.. okay.. my turn..yeah right baby.. to the right to the left..."
kame and jin were laughing like mad. koki honked the cars horn to call jin's sttention.
*beep beep
"yeah yeah! i'm coming.." jin said
jin turned to say goodbye to kame. kame did the same and turned to jin. they were so close to each other that when they turned, their lips locked.
when they realized what happened, they both pulled back. koki who saw the whole thing was smiling like he was crazy.
"uh... i better go.." jin said when there was an awkward silence between the two of them.
"yeah.." kame managed to answer
"call me tomorrow?"
"i will.."
"have to go.."
"bye... uh... take care.."
jin was looking back at kame while walking that he tripped. he immediately stood up.
"i'm fine.. hehe.. bye.."
"hai.. bye."
when jin got in his car, kame just stood there and watch them leave.
after a few moments..
*hiccup
kame looked puzzled.
"hiccup. *hiccup. *hiccup.
that night kame slept with a smile on his face.
