I've just finished yet another 20in20 batch, which I hope you'll enjoy. They're all very different this time. You know, with my two latest batches I either had the majority of my icons colored pink or yellow, at least they somehow matched with the rest of the set. This time, I think the themed icons don't really belong together because I tried so

Well, I'm the one who has been not accepted at 20inspirations but I'll try to be accepted the next time ;D So keep working! I'm changing my style a little bit, hope they'll like it^^

Yeah, I've already been rejected like three times. I think this is going to be the fourth time I'm applying, but hey. I see I'm just getting better and let's face it, a year ago when I applied for the very first time my sharpening was horrible. I've been working a lot on that because they gave me so much good criticism. They won't like each and every icon I make, but that's fine because other people do...but I'm working on my problem zones. ;)
Hope you'll be accepted next time, too. Your icons are always so lovely.

Well, I have the similar situation. I have new laptop (*yay!*) with very good graphics. Earlier I've been working with a 11-yeared monitor, after that with newer one, but still with worse graphics than I have now in my laptop. And I wanted in my icons to be light and with good contrast. And, apparently, these zones were 'to high', like too big contrast and light. So now I keep myself in every icon to check lights and contrast and, I think, it really works now ;) We just have to practise a lot ;D

I guess we have. I just posted a new application, hope they'll accept me this time. I feel like I've improved a lot, especially in my last few batches.

But you know, one day we'll be accepted. :D
And the thing with the contrast is probably always a bit tricky because graphics look different on pretty much every screen. If you looked at my graphics from my mum's computer screen you'd so get a shock, haha. :D
