It's been a crappy week for me. Firstly, the new project manager has been irritating the shit out of me. He talks too much, acts cute and tries too hard to please. At work, he'd often come to my desk and check on my progress. Checking up is good, but NOT every hour!!! -_- Being nice as he just join the co., I didn't really mind initially. But soon, even niceness can be worn out. On one occassion, I was designing a microsite and he came over to check on it. I told him it wouldn't be so soon. Half an hour later, he came and ask AGAIN, "How is it?" I feel like telling him how is it if I shaft my whole computer in his arse so he'd stop coming over to my desk and asking me HOW IS IT???? And did I mention while I'm doing the work for him, he was msning me too?! I got really pissed one day and told him off that at this rate I'd never be able to get things done. There he is, pressing me for the work to be done and yet he keeps chatting with me on msn. WTF. Seeing my extremely black-long-sour face, I think he got the message. Thou shall leave me ALONE.
Then a few days ago I called up this sport boutique's hotline number to check whether if my member card is ready. A lady picked up my call and I asked her to check if they've got my card ready. She said it's there and they would send it out in 2 weeks time. What? I've to wait for another 2 weeks? I thought to myself. So I told her that it was already way past the maximum of 3 months (in fact, it's already close to 5 months) that they stated in the receipt which they needed to process the membership. I wanted to know what went wrong. Even without thinking, she told me that it was impossible. They would NEVER delay for more than 3 months. But I told her I was sure it was definitely more than 3 months already and then she retorted back at me asking me wad my problem was!!! She then carried on to defend that it's a free membership so wad did I expect? It's only natural that it would take a long time to process due to the huge number of subscribers. I was like WTF!!! Is this how you treat your customers? So wad if the membership is free? I spend a blooding farking 100 bucks on the receipt to get it okay. I was so pissed with her attitude and I asked for her name. And you know what? After she mumbled her name, SHE HANG UP ON ME!!!! How rude! Miss Mabel, I wish you have a rotten day. I wish your day was screwed up just as mine was. May you step on dog poo, get bird shit, get your queue cut, lost your mobile phone and get splash with dirty, soapy water from someone's carwash. Humph.
And then this morning, I was late for work (as usual) so I called for a cab. I was only about a few hundred metres from my workplace and there was a long jam. The meter kept jumping and jumping and I was getting really irritated with every passing minute. When I finally reached my workplace, the meter read 18 bucks. And I was like WTF! 18 bucks??!! The uncle was like staring at me, but I really couldn't care less. I paid him and grumbled something under my breath and got out. What a farky week.
