Last night shadowsong03 and I rented some movies, drank some beer and chatted...that was fun. Despite the fact the one of the films was ridiculously sappy and the other, so disturbing that we stopped watching it. Love...Actually was sweet, not overly so, but at the same time I was sort of happy when the film ended, especially as I was having problems paying attention to it (people who've seen me drunk know what that's like). The first film was The Butterfly Effect. Both of us wanted to know how the movie ended, but we weren't in the mood to attempt to cope with the cruelty and shocking events depicted on screen. Anybody who wants to spoil the last 3/4 of the movie, feel free (last thing we saw was Ashton's friend pin him up against the wall, choking him and saying if he made a peep, it would be his last).
