Ok, so last night went weird. First of all I thought we were supposed to go down the canyon to Malibu in the morning... instead it turned out that everyone else wanted to go at night. Ended up going to Pat & Oscars and getting a whole bunch of extra food... then we went to the movies to see Four Brothers... I enjoyed it... Chris is down from Santa Cruz and is staying here for Labor Day weekend... better not lose him through the canyons since he doesn't know his way around these parts right? Well, that didn't quite happen. We just barreled through assuming he was right behind all of us, but nope, it took us a while before we realized somebody was missing. By this time Dianna was getting pretty queasy from all the twists and turns in my car. Also Albert was feelin it too in Doug's car... so we couldn't find Chris for a while but eventually we made contact. Later, Chris and Doug are racing on the freeway and Chris's clutch cable breaks and ends up leaving his car stranded on the side of the 23. Bijan went home with Katie before we went in because his car is acting up. Long story short, we never made it to Malibu. Maybe another time?
