the next few entries will be pictures mostly, because i think that it's more accurate in informing you of my life since uj went under.

so i went to europe this summer and i wish i could have stayed there. i'd have thrown myself across ecclessiactes square and said "leave me here, with the pubs, rain and pavement" if it had not been raining and i had not been wearing my favorite dress.

french countryside

we stayed in a pretty little inn near here. it was actually more like staying in someone's house.

chambord, built by francois I, during the renaissance.

i love this picture. its a crest on one of the towers of chambord

paris

versailles. louis XIV had too much money. but it was beautiful.

gargoyles on notre dame de paris

la champs elysee, as seen from the top of the arc de triomphe.

i love this statue, this whole museum actually. musee d'orsay, paris. a lot of places didn't allow cameras, or i would also have pictures from tate museum of modern art, the louvre, westminster abbey, and the inside of notre dame.

london

parliment, the clock tower, as seen from the world's largest faris wheel, the london eye.

changing of the guards, buckingham palace

statue of queen victoria, in front of buckingham palace

english countryside

shakespeare's birthplace, stratford-upon-avon.

first industrial factory in england, i think it's lovely.

blenheim palace, birthplace of winston churchill.

gardens at blenheim

there are a lot of sheep in england. this one is particularly cute.

once you go to someplace as wonderful as that, suburbia really fucking sucks.
