I think I have a slight spending problem. Ever since I've had regular money coming in (thank you government!) I've been spending quite a bit of money. On shoes, clothes, stuff. Random things. I dunno. I suppose I did it before but to a lesser extent. And this living away from home thing also doesn't help, lol, especially when places are furnished but kitchen equipment is crap.
Things I didn't buy today:
- A silky looking shirt at Target for $21, I think - it was polyester/elastane, ugh.
- Cropped pants (with pleats!) at Target for $32 - didn't bother to try them on.
- A chiffon type dress in a fleshy-peachy colour with a fine brown print for $30-something ... decided I didn't need a dress of that colour
- DVDs and CDs (note to self: when in Melbourne, buy something by the Wombats)
- More tour book guide things of London - I have one and that should be enough!
- A 'retro' chrome fan for $50
Things I did buy:
- Ingredients for cheesecake brownies
- A $12 pedestal fan (not retro) from the Reject Shop
- Pizza ingredients
- A packet of 97% fat free frankfurts. In retrospect I should have just gone for the normal ones which were only 3 times as fatty...
- Petrol. It appears that my fuel economy is down to 6.05L/100km, which is pretty awesome. Go car!
Things which are concerning:
- That tropical cyclone thingo that's lurking around QLD.
- The fact that my airconditioner DRIPS WATER ALL THE TIME
- My guts haven't settled down yet - this is day 4 and I'm starting to get concerned. Although perhaps I shouldn't keep eating so much food.
- Not sure if I'm going to get paid all my monies this week. I hope I faxed in my timesheet okay.
Otherwise, life is quite good. I am still procrastinating.
