i am a tired person. today Jonathan and I were doing promos for the Weds punk show by going up to Hollywood and littering it with flyers. Our little excursion made me appreciate LA a bit more. Sure, LA is dirty and desolate sometimes, but that just reflects the fact that SoCal is a desert. I think it was Frank Lloyd Wright who said that architecture is supposed to intertwine with the natural setting that surrounds it. yeah, LA is a lot of concrete and dirt, but what else would it be?

We passed by the following places by:
Capitol Records
Amoeba
Epitapth Records
The Pantages Theater
Henry Fonda Theatre
The Walk of Stars (kind of lame, i think ANYONE can get their own fucking star if Motley Crue can)
Hollywood High (not important at all. i just think Hollywood High sounds funny)
LA Weekly Offices
some place called The Korean Underwear Discount Center
a barbershop calle Cut R' Us

somewhere in the middle, i found out that Jonathan is vegetarian, but he's trying to take up meat again because he lost a lot of weight. We got lunch at this hot dog stand and he bought a giant-ass turkey dog. After eating it he said it was gross. but hey, he ate the whole thing.

Oh yeah, we also saw the Roosevelt Hotel. people claim that theres a mirror in the lobby that's haunted by Marilyn Monroe. if you check yourself out in the mirror, her figure will supposedly show up in the reflection. neato. im visiting that place the next time im there.

PS- i thought about going to Groundzero to get a milkshake, but my roommate says he doesn't want to walk that far for just a shake. well fuck, you've been behind your computer all day on a Saturday. get up and go do something for once
