(no subject)
last night there was a potluck thing involving a bunch of high school friends. everything went smoothly up until we started playing Taboo. then the problems started to happen. without getting into specifics, i'll just say that people were being douchebags and brought back some bad memories. i just sort of smiled and nodded, which is what i was expected to do. but then i came home and wrote an entry on xanga (my other livejournal, which i use more frequently) that basically said "y'all are a stupid bunch of fucks." i normally get 10 hits per day on that site. but within 20 minutes of posting that entry there was already 18.
the aftermath is starting to present itself. im not sure what finally brought me to this point. i think it was just to prove to myself that i can actually throw a wrench in the gears and bring things to a screeching hault. i realize that this is all very selfish. but hey, sometimes you have to join them in their own game
