Also, this is really random, but I've seen it done so many times before, and IMO it's so icky that it produces the physical reaction of my scrunching up my nose in disgust--I cannot stand it when pairing names are combined. Like, for example, KuroFay, or DouWata, or even Pipella (though that one is admittedly very funny). There's also HitsuHina, Ishihime, etc. Such shortening of names in fandom is a personal pet peeve of mine, to be sure.
It seems to suggest that you become less of a person or a character when you're romantically invested in someone and have found your counterpart/soulmate/better half/what have you. And it makes me take both of the characters, as well as their proposed romantic relationship, less seriously than is deserved.
