obligatory ouran post
Thanks to everyone who voted so far re: health class project poll. <3 I didn't expect to get so much input, but then again I cross-posted left and right at various survey-involved LJ comms. More people who found the link there have voted than flist members, though. (Just sayin'. XD) I'll still be collecting input until I decide when. (Project isn't due for more than a week.)
Have been reading The Sun Also Rises; required to finish it today. Then: Bell Jar or Lolita, depending upon whether I'll be able to find a copy of the former hidden somewhere in the house.
Also, re: obligatory Ouran anime ended wahwah post. I thought episode 26 was sentimental and embarrassing and melodramatic in all the bad ways (and this is not me being condescending or elitist; I'm being straightforward about this and it saddens me that I thought it was terrible, because I did want an ending that meant something special to me), and yet. Eclair. *___________________* God, it's so lovely that she's so quirky. What a cruel and mean and lovely French girl! YES. And those glasses of hers. What kind of girl, what kind of person, looks at the world through those things. Oh, my heart is a flutter!! with the raburabu. (That scene with the fish was nice too. *is shot*) I--I really want to read good, fantastic, introspective Eclair gen fic. D: She is just too great for words.
As for merchandise: shouhaku has a sale on her LJ and among the many things she's selling is Usa-chan. I still have pools of cash lying around, but I also still have no shot at getting this despite the fact it's the only accessible one I've seen. Hopefully someone from my flist will get it and post pretty pics while they sleep with it, eat cake with it, watch the telly with it, etc. so I can live vicariously. Ha. Ha. Ha.
