(no subject)
today was the official *start* exercising day- i’ve had a week or so of umming and arring about going- lots of excuses… but today i went. and it was somewhat ok with music and japanese TV advertising to entertain me.
after, i showered and only when getting out of my shower cubical, making a start for my locker, did i realize that i was *actually* in the mens change room- and not the ladies… the area from the pool to the shower room is just is a lot of doors and not a lot of signs and when i’m without my glasses- i’m pretty hopeless. also, i thought it was strange that (from behind) all the women looked rather masculine… but i laughed all the way to the right locker room.
i now understand why the cleaning lady was giving me such funny looks!
it seems i also may have forgotten how to swim- but swimming with your head above water is difficult- goggles for next time!
my life- outside the gym… is pretty good. we had our 1-year anniversary for flo union on sunday night, which went well, even though everyone came rather late. tokidoki successfully hid from nearly every photo i attempted to get of him djing… design festa is in a couple of weeks, which seems a bit sudden and very disorganized. they need more artists- so tokyo artists- sign up! (if you want)
we (tetsuya, bonnie and i) have made plans for our golden week vacation- three days in nakano. the place looks nice and there’s a castle! i am looking forward to relaxing and walking around and not having to worry about anything.
