Ok, so here's my last two days. Mind you, the first two days of the first full week of class here.
Saturday and Sunday night were largely spent not doing hmwk until about 11 or 11:30 when the outdoor movie (V for Vendetta, quite good) was over. But still, to be working on the homework for one class from 11:30 to 4:30 is not my favorite. I'm just glad that I did my homework in my other classes beforehand.
So then I got to get up for my eight-oh-frickin-five three and a half short hours later. I went to class until lunch (because that's how long I have it), ate, went back, and took a nap until before dinner. I got up in time to take a shower, because I needed it, and now that I'm single, I need start paying more attention to the way I go to class. Less jankness is in order. Anyway, then dinner, then chapter (which was only about half an hour mind you) and then back to Percopo. I cleaned a little bit (but not very long) and started on my homework at about 8:30.
I didn't get to bed until 6:30 that night/morning.
So, in summary, 3.5 hours + 2 hours on Monday and a whopping 1 hour last night gives me 6.5 cumulitive sleep for the last two days. Less than I'm used to.
This is going to be a tough year.
I was so tired during class today that I was falling asleep while actively writing. I mean, in the act of moving my pen across the page. I was so tired that I kept slipping off and having mini dreams that tied in with what my prof was saying. Dreams about molecules and equations and flowrates and the strangest tangents in the world off of them. It was surreal.
So now I'm at work trying to stay awake and my computer's about to die, so I'd best post this and move on to something else.
I am actually fantasizing about a nap. Getting in a big comfy t-shirt, pulling back the covers, laying myself down, snuggling up in the blankets, and slowly closing my eyes...
It will be beautiful. Too bad I volunteered for something at work and can't sleep all afternoon.
Such is life. For all of this, I'm still just thrilled to be back at Rose. Now that's pretty crazy.
