Saoirse Makes Her Debut
We have a new baby. Her name is Saoirse - pronounced Seer-sha - it's Gaelic for "freedom". She is another Denver Dumb Friends League rescue and is truly a rescue. We're her 3rd attempt at adoption. The first adopter brought her back after she came down with kennel cough...said they couldn't deal with a sick cat. Additionally, they returned her pregnant after signing the contract agreeing to have her spayed. The 2nd adoption she was returned because, while she got along great with the other cat in the house, the dog terrorized her so badly that she hid the entire time she was there.
She is 1 year old and is so very very sweet. She doesn't like cuddling as much as Vinny but she is so gentle and kind. Vinny has not been easy on her. We're still working on his agression and territorial behavior. We've made progress (it's only been 6 days) but I'm ready for him to just get the fuck over it.
