A Year In Blog Retrospect - 2009
Did you know I've had this blog since May 2003? I can't believe that it's almost been in existance for 7 years now, yeesh. That's a lot of writing/drama/camwhoring to be contained in one location.
I've come to realize I didn't blog a lot this year, so using my blog to summarize is pretty dismal.
(I'm procrastinating at finishing taking down the tree, so I figured this would kill another half hour)
January - trip to Kauai. Spent the week with M. and had an absolutely amazing time. Spontaneous decision #1 for the year (very abnormal for me), and the longest trip I had ever taken (17 hrs each way).
February - 1 year anniversary of my breakup with Dave. Staph infection #1 hits.
March - Tried to do 'gratitude tuesdays' and failed. Apex of work drama.
April - Staph infection v. 2.0. Things with M. hit a wall; pretty messy. Me.
May - Trip to Vegas. Officially termination of anything with M. The word 'prick' was used quite often that month, probably to offset the number of times he called me a 'cunt'.
June - Came to peace with my boyfriends marrying the next girl they date. Major epiphanies were had about Dave. Became the last single one of my girlfriends.
July - Positive performance review from my boss (say what!). Random hookup with a co-worker due to 1800 (much to heimshal's amusement). Random acts of motherly drama.
August - Shopping at Hallmark with C and saying inappropriate things to breeders. Dating insight from Penny Arcade. B's engagement party and meeting some new boys. Bought netbook (Daphne!)
September - Trip to Halifax to visit raymous, which was epic. Craved human touch (oddity). A lot of 'writers blocks'.
October - Really bad date. Almost hit a deer. Bought my sexbox. Propositioned a friend to be fwb. Caught the flu for the first time ever.
November - Missed my memere ... a lot. Visited neurot5 in Minnesota and had an amazing time .. even if he stole my rewards all the time. The 'quotation marks' debate with heimshal, re: 'dates'.
December - Equated poinsettias to anal sex. Did the '30 Days' meme. Got called a geek, again. Staph infection #3, but got a specialist this time. Almost creamed myself over C-code.
And to start out this year, I did in fact kiss a random stranger while completely smashed. Good job me. :P
Oh! And I got an 'A' in my course I took this fall. GPA of 4.00 again, yay me :D
